I perform both interior and exterior  consultations using Benjamin Moore and/or Sherwin Williams colors.  I serve as a guide to help you achieve the look you want, making sure the paint color works with the undertones in the fixed elements in your space.  Once we narrow down options using the fan decks, we can utilize my large color samples,

 giving you confidence in your choices.  I can also help you make hard finish selections (tile, countertops, etc.) for your renovation or new build....because these choices basically all come down to COLOR.

My husband and I began a major home renovation eight years ago and I was overwhelmed with the MANY selections I had to make.  I hired a color consultant recommended by a friend.  She not only helped me determine a color palette for my new home, but also told me that I have a "good eye" for color and suggested I pursue a career in color consulting.  So I took a color certification course, which not only helped tremendously as I made the color and hard finish selections for our home, but also birthed my career in color.  Since then I have performed over 1000 consultations.

As a color consultant, I use both the technical and creative sides of my brain.  There is a science involved in understanding undertones, yet there is a creative aspect as well in selecting just the right colors for your home.  I have a Civil Engineering  degree, but I also have always enjoyed working with color through decorating, sewing, and other home projects.  Along with my initial color certification training, I also attended Maria Killam’s color course and became a True Color Expert.  I enjoy learning new perspectives on how to select color, pair colors, and, most importantly to me, how to articulate the WHY of color choices.
